Simone Rothman

Founder and CEO of FutureAir, a New Clean Tech startup that is developing design-forward solutions to address indoor air pollution and energy consumption.

Prior to starting FutureAir, Simone founded the office of STUDIOS Architecture in Paris in 1990, followed by New York, where she managed business development and marketing worldwide for over 14 years. In 2004, she was tapped to be the global CMO of Hong Kong-based Tai Ping International where she remained for over a decade. While living and working in Asia, Simone experienced firsthand the impact of extreme air pollution and climate change. Inspired by her experiences, Simone joined the Climate Reality project, an initiative started by former Vice President Al Gore. Simone is a founding leader of the New York City chapter for Climate Reality where she continues to organize action around the climate
crisis.

Simone’s environmentalism and design core are reflected in her education, at the University of Colorado, Boulder, followed by studies at the New York School of Interior Design and a 5-year tenure at Knoll International France. Simone's design expertise has been instrumental in bringing awareness and solutions to the problem of indoor air pollution with by building a revolutionary ecosystem of smart indoor air products that are as beautiful as as they are effective.
